A National Historic Landmark; originally constructed in 1795 Blandwood later served as N.C. Governor John Motley Morehead's home. In 1844, A.J. Davis designed an addition, transforming the farmhouse into an Italianate wonder. Visit today to see the original architecture and family furnishings.
