LET'S FALL IN LOVE: GREENSBORO SYMPHONY POPS CONCERT ON FEBRUARY 14, 2012
GREENSBORO, NC (February 3, 2012) - Music is filled with wonderful love songs. You can find them on Broadway, in the movies, recorded by country or rock superstars, and even in classical pieces going back several hundred years. And opening the Greensboro Symphony POPS Valentine’s Day concert at Westover Church is perhaps the best known of all love songs – Cole Porter’s “Let’s Do It, Let’s Fall in Love”.
We all have great memories when we think of these classic lyrics, “Birds do it, bees do it, even educated fleas do it”. Singing these words will be John Pagano. John has had a great solo career, but is probably even better known for his longtime collaboration with one of the most important names in American popular song, Burt Bacharach.
